St. Johnsbury firefighters get $178K grant for new gear. The Associated Press announced last week that Federal emergency officials are giving firefighters in St. Johnsbury more than $178,000 for new equipment. The Caledonian-Record reported the Federal Emergency Management Agency grant to the St. Johnsbury Fire Department was recently announced. The town is providing nearly $9,000 in matching funds.
