An Overnight Adventure for Our Youngest Naturalists!
On Friday, April 8, bring your favorite stuffy to the Fairbanks Museum — we’ve welcomed bears, frogs, mice, dinosaurs, pigs, snakes and many more. We’ll register each stuffy and take good care of them. Your stuffed buddy will spend the night in the Museum with our collection of bears, birds, bats and others!
On Saturday, April 9, at 9 AM, we’ll open the doors so you can discover where your buddy spent the night. We’ll learn more about how animals in our forests, fields and wetlands wake up after a long winter’s sleep. What’s the first thing they want to do? Most of them are very hungry … we’ll share a light breakfast together.
This program is presented by the Balch Nature School, a preschool program at the Fairbanks Museum. Cost is $10/buddy and includes light breakfast for the whole family.
